About the Owner

Hey y'all!

I am the owner and teacher for Abstract Adventures LLC. This venture started when I looked for art classes for my then 3 (now 5!) yr old son in Summerville, and was not able to find a regular class. I decided to take up the task myself, and here we are growing more and more every month.

I have a degree in Accounting, and have gone back to school for Early Education to better serve my students. I have had a love for art since I was little, drawing and reading art books, taking 2D media classes in high school, and continuing with art classes into college.

The first ten years of my career I was a veterinary technician, along with some cashier jobs (comic book store & BOLD gym) on and off. I continued my passion for art picking up new skills such as knitting and sewing, as well as mural painting.

My dream is to grow Abstract Adventures into a third space for our community. A place where our family and friends can gather, to laugh, play and create together.

Hope to meet y'all soon, Jaguar

About Abstract Adventures

Abstract Adventures is a children's art studio, offering structured art classes that use process over product instruction. Our classes and safe creative environment allow our students to create how best fits them that day, weather that is sitting at the table or on the floor sprawled out.

Starting with plans to bring art to just toddlers, we have expanded to now bringing art to your whole family.  We also love partnering with other local businesses, either hosting events in their space or by brining an extra special event to the Lowcountry. We invite everyone to come as they are, just bring your imagination and get creative with us.

Check our schedule for the up to date times, class lengths and offerings.  In all classes, pop ups and workshops, all supplies and materials are provided unless otherwise noted. This can include smocks for paint classes, special tools and a changing selection of art mediums.
